  • It's Easter...

"For God so love the world that He gave Hi one and only Son, that who ever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

It's so good to be loved by GOD!

Another Easter is here...so fast, one year has passed, and every time when i look back, i will smile and Praise God for everything that i've went through God is Awesome, Amen!

This is the 1st time in my life time that i celebrated Easter in another church, something different! CHC production 'The final solution' is AWESOME...it simply brings out another side of the story and link to Jesus's crucifixion. Pastor Kong's message was inspiring as well. During the drama, when i saw 'Jesus' wipe by the soldiers, walking down the aisle carrying a cross, and many were crying and yelling...it reminded me of the production we had one year ago, "Endless Hope". We had the same scene in our production, when 'Jesus' was dragged from the back till the front of the church and all the other cast members were crying and weeping as the weepers along the way.
This production is a tremendous journey i would say. First time working with Sheerah, getting both the chinese and english youths together in this production! We wrote our own script, made our own props, cheorograph dance and even our own invitation card and door gift...Every part of it still fresh in my mind.
Both good and bad memories all came back....and it is really not an easy task...I rememeber we started planning it since January, from zero till the day of production. And i think that was the 1st event that we youth did that involved the whole church. Thanks to everyone~!

It was a memorable and succesful event~...but in the midst of the progress...many things happened that really make me stop and ponder upon God. Ministry is never easy, especially when it is getting bigger. When different oppinions are voiced and different  decisions are made, conflict comes in. We came to a point where we nearly scrap off the whole production and walked our own way, but hey, 'What are we doing this for?', It is to show the Love of God to the world out there...
I truly thank God that he brought us back to the right track to carry on in this mission till the day itself...It is all by God's grace~ and God shown himself on that very evening...

Time really flies, and another year has passed. Thank God for all this amazing journey and experience in life that made me who i am today.
"For i know the plans i have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you." Jeremiah 29:11
I believe that tomorrow(future) will be a greater day cause the Bible say so...
and All the Best to everyone who have exams~!!!!

  • Loving God Whole Heartedly, Loving People Fervently...

Rev. Paul Scanlon's message is just simply IMPACTFUL! Once again my mind was renewed. Sometimes i've been thinking too much who to reach out to and all, filtering through who and how and bla bla bla....then usually end up with someone whom i think i'm convenient with(Of course)!!! But little did i know, there are so many things which are out of our control and sometimes a little act of kindness can bring such an impact to other's lives! Filtering who to reach out is never our part, it's God's!...and we don't even have the right to judge whether someone is open to gospel or not, our main purpose should be 'Loving God and Loving people', no matter who they are or how inconvenient it can be! Our very 1st concern - to be the ‘Light of the World and Salt of the Earth’ and Love love love!!

But as time goes by, when more and more task and responsibility comes in, somehow somewhere you lost the focus and started to side track...things become routine, suddenly the excitement was gone and you just don't find yourself enjoy doing it anymore. And then i started to ask myself, " What is all this for?" Life without purpose is so meaningless, just like eating 'prata without curry', tasteless and colorless!!! After all, life is not about getting a good degree or getting a good job. Nothing is guaranteed in this world except for our SALVATION (JESUS) which gives us a ETERNAL LIFE!

Rev. Paul Scanlon says, "You do not need to pray and ask God to show you the LOST, just open up your eyes, they are all around you..." Yep, that's so true! We don't need a special divine appointment from God to know who to reach out to and so on, just open our eyes and start to notice people around us. There's so much for us to help! Find a need and meet it, find a hurt and heal it. One man's act of kindness is another man's miracle! This is so true. The '15mins Revolution' is gonna be fantastic. Spend 15 mins everyday just to show your love and care to the people around you. Show the agape love in everything you do, and do it inconveniently. Man, you will not have any idea how God is gonna move, and gosh…I BELIEVE it will be AWESOME~!

And if people like you, they will like your church, in fact this should be the no.1 rule to win the lost~!! No matter who they are, just accept and treat them genuinely. And believe that all goodness lead people to change!

Thank God for renewing my mind once again~ winning the lost over has always been one of my purpose in life, but by always believing and praying only without any action taken has lead me nowhere. Has been in a comfort zone all these years (in church), by having all the head knowledge input of how to evangelize. Head knowledge without practical actions really leads me nowhere! Coming to NTU has really bring me into the ‘REAL world’ where hands on and practical actions are needed.

Never have I imagine that I will become a regular member of City Harvest Church and goes to their service every Sunday. And look, here am I, attending their cell group meetings weekly; get blessed and exposed by all the international anointed speakers and powerful sermons from Ps Kong himself, being part of CHC community to impact lives!!! Gosh, unbelievable~!!! All these are far more than a dream….

And I believe that all these never happened coincidentally, everything was PLANNED! CHC has opened up my eyes so much, exposed me to all new things that never crossed my mind. Indeed I was greatly BLESSED! And I’m so glad that God included me in His master plan to impact this world.

Was really inspired after hearing how our cell group has grown from 2/3 to 20+ now! Amazing! More awesome to know that most of them were really transformed and changed by God to be someone so passionate now!

Once we were the ones among the Lost, and here comes this person. He noticed us and willing to accept us for who we are by showing his care and love. And because of His persistence and not giving-up spirit on us that we came to know Christ and got to experienced His greatness, and then our lives was transformed! How amazing is that?! A simple act and care changed a person’s life. Hearing all the life testimonies from my cg really moved my heart. One by one redirecting their life back to God and then here they are being the ‘Someone’ who noticed people by showing their care & concern to them; being someone who is part of God’s master plan.

When we go fishing with Jesus for fish, we catch live ones and they die! When we go fishing with Jesus for men, we catch dead ones and they live.

When things are done with a genuine heart, nothing can stop God’s anointing from flowing in. And I can see that God is adding to our number day by day, some of them so happen to know us and started to join in. Somehow, somewhere, God just bring people into our circle. It’s just amazing to see how God works sometimes, it blows your mind off~

I am truly blessed to be in this group of Amazing and Wonderful people, to be part of them in God’s divine plan. Touching Heaven Changing Earth~

I sincerely pray that all of us (cg member) will continue to work on this and do all things with a genuine heart, focus on ‘Loving God whole heartedly and Loving people fervently’ and put it as our 1st priority in life.

…Love your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind…And Love your neighbor as yourself.”  - Matthew 22:37-39 -

  • God - My tower of Refuge~

This whole week I have been going through ups and downs in emotions...feeling kind of worried as exams is approaching very soon! Stress and stress and stress~ Too many things to do but have got too little time to finished. And i am so glad as im going through all this stress and worries, i've got a God who is bigger than all this problem, bigger than ALL impossible and He Reigns Forever!! And when I worship Him, my life in Him was restored; suddenly I feel released and felt the comfort! It is so troubled to look at all the stress and problems, with no idea how to solve it; But knowing that God is faithful and true, and that He is the God of everything, I begin to leave it up to Him and be dependent on Him!

    As His word says:

Be Strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.Isaiah 35:4

    Thank you God~

  • From 2008 to 2009

Time really flies...it's time to say bye 2008 and start receiving another new year 2009...
Looking back to 2008, so many memories passed through my mind, fun, excitement, worries, hope, joy, rejection, change, sadness, challenge and etc. It's always great to see how God has lead me through all these ups and downs, i grown to be stronger and dependent on Him more!
In fact, 2008 is the most memorable and challenging year of all. Seems like i've experienced most of the things in this special year. From finishing STPM to receiving my miracle result to getting rejection from all Singapore University and even Local Uni to accepting the truth that i have to finish my degree in Terengganu to getting another miracle to go NTU to meeting new frens and going to City Harvest Singapore for service and then knowing all my wonderful and funny cell group members as another small family in NTU. Bits by bits, day by day, walk by faith and not by sight till today~ God you are simply AWESOME~!!!!!

What more can i say/complain when i got such a wonderful and Awesome God that guides me through everything in my life and even paved my future for me~ Praise the Lord for He is worthy!!!

Never have i ever imagine that i will be a member of City Harvest Singapore, and now every sunday i will be going to this church for service which is just OUTSIDE NTU!! Gosh, how can everything be so coincident? Of course NO...I strongly believe that everything has been planned by God even before i was born. Amazing, Amazing!

I believe that 2009 will be another great year with greater challenge...eventhough the journey of Life is hard, but nothing is Impposible with our Possible God~!!!
